Treating a leather wheel?

The extremely informative guy at the dealership answered with "um, I don't know". So I'll ask my question here among the well versed and knowledgable car enthusiats that seem to have an answer for everything. Do you need to treat a leather steering wheel with any product for it's longevity/durability?

I use the Meguiar's Leather care on mine. Been using it for years, looks brand new to this day.

The stuff I clean my leather jacket with doesn't make it slippery so I'm sure there are products out there that won't have that effect.
