Slim Kidd 11-May-2004 09:47 PM

Recieved PM from loudsubz he said he bought an extra pair of Eg seats or something. Question what are EG seats Could I just transfer my 02 civic brakets onto the Tom's seats???

imported_caloge 12-May-2004 08:03 AM

eg seats are out of a 92-95 civic (eg is the chassis) thats what i was also considering, is it possible with an ek stock bracket

imported_twinbros 12-May-2004 12:54 PM

You need to fabricate your stocks rails into the racing seats.
This means alot of cutting and welding.
Be prepared to pay around $70-120 for a custom job.

imported_terrible1 13-May-2004 12:31 PM

yeah its true, just got these two weeks ago, the "universal" brackets they send you, really arent universal at all, i had to use my stock rails, and custom make mounts on them, in order to make them fit my EF civic...but other then that, great seats. I was lucky enough to have a friend at my school metal shop do it for me for free

i have a set of the bride style Tom Motorsport seats. Red/black...so nice and comfortable. You have to have rails made...which are about 100 bux a seat. the seats come with sliders. I think they are awesome seats, and i would recommend them

Slim Kidd 13-May-2004 08:55 PM

thanks

hydrocivic 13-May-2004 10:31 PM

personally, i would not buy thses seats to be honest with u, they are made from alot cheaper bof amterial which makes them wear much faster, if u want quality seats that wont wear and crap out on your, expect to pay alot more, like my momo seats:)
