Hi,

I have a 95 4 door civic. I am planning on getting black tints. Wondering is there anyone who has gotten a ticket in toronto area for having 20 % tints all around. Which option do u guys think is better having 35 % in the front and 20% in the back or jus having 20 % all around.

i had a black coupe with 35% all around. 2 stage tint looks stupid, too many shades of black on the car, doesnt look too clean

35% is dark enough not to see in, but light enough for good nightitme driving visibility

20% is a little too uncomfortable driving wise in my opinion

I have 35 all around on both of my cars and I have never been stopped and I dont have any problems seeing out either.

Really you are still taking a chance. It also depends on the color of your car and the interior.

The is no tint law in Canada but the cop has to feel comfortable seeing through your window.

We have done 20% around on TONS of cars and most have no issues but you are always taking a chance.

You know wrong spot and the wrong time

i had a cop once tell me my tint was illegal (20% all around) but he also said i went througfh a stop sign (which i came to a full stop at :shrugs: ) then he let me go. It was weird

i've got 35 in the front and 20 for the rear, it doesn't affect my visibility at all.
