How hard would it be to switch out the 96 - 99 civic climate control to 99/00, I want a double din mainly. Also it looks nicer.

I wouldn't be doing it myself if it's possible, but I was wondering how long it might take my mechanic, just to estimate how much it will cost.

there have been several DIYs on honda sites, but it requires much more work than simply swapping the center bezel/climate control. the 96-98 uses manual switches for the heat/fan settings, while the 99-00 uses digital switches. and if i remember correctly, it requires swapping the entire dash too...
