stereo trouble

stereo trouble

i went to future shop to install my stereo obut a week ago.... they installed everything and a couple days later a sub blew(old sub my fault w.e) but wen i went bak fro them to diconnect the subs to let just the factory speakers play it now keeps making a scrsthcing noise and ticking...what could this be????

They probably only disconnected the RCA's from the amplifier end for the subs and left them plugged in in the back of the deck. So whenever the deck turns on it is still passing signal through the cables. When they touch or if they drag across the floor or carpet of the car, it will make a scratching noise or a popping. Just disconnect them from the back of the deck and your problems should be solved.

Go to "Selective Sound " or Audio Heaven. They should fix your problem...
