SRS light on - 99 civic CX HB
The SRS light does not go off on my car.
I have reset it using the MES, it comes right back.
Today, I read the code by jumping the SCS connector. It gave me DTC 2-2.
It says trouble shoot "dummy resistor" in Main harness 2P connector.
I am getting a little hesitant in going any further with this.
Is this a time consuming fix for the dealer? I don't want to pay too much.
If I am playing with the harness, then I would assume I have to have the negative terminal off the battery.. Do I have to remove the steering wheel cover to get at this?
