So ive posted before about my speedometer needle jumping like crazy and im sure many Civic drivers have this problem to...

anyways, many people have been telling me its the VSS on the tranny but today I went to see a good mechanic in town...who specializes in Acura/Honda in Milton...he told me its most likely the Cluster...he said that if it was the vss the engine light would come on...


Anyone agree or fixed this prob b4?

I agree with that, I have the same problem, have replaced the vss and still the same problem. Sometimes if I push the odometer reset button in really hard it will make the speedo start working so i'm sure it's the cluster. One day I'll get around to resoldering the traces on the back of the cluster to see if that works, if it doesn't I'll replace the cluster.
