When I bought my car(96 civic ex), I didn't notice there is a front side speak doesn't work. Now I wanna have it fixed, The speaker is at the side door, is the work complicated? or how much to let the dealer do it.

Definitely don't do it at the dealer. You are better off buying a new set of aftermarket speakers to replace your blown one. The front door speakers for your car are 6.5s.

not hard to fix...remove the cover for the speaker, you may have to remove the door panel... not hard to do, if you haven't done this before, you must first un-screw the phillips screws in the inside handle,then take off the window crank handle, and then un-clip the series of clips around the outline of the door....inspect the speaker for loose connections / wires. If aftermarket speakers were installed, they may have not been installed correctly, and have had the wires pinched off through the door jams -(where the door closes). If speaker still doesn;t work, you may have to replace the speaker. hope some of this helps...
