spare key was stolen what to do?

So my 2008 civic was broken into last week and I just realized that my spare key was take with my other belongings.... I left it in the glove box when I took it for servicing the week prior
What are my options here so this thieving bastard can't come and go as he/she pleases into my car or possibly take off with it?
I'm on a very tight budget as it is so the most economical solution would help.
Thanks

go to the dealership and have them reprogram all the keys you do have. Even if someone has the old spare key, they can still get in the car but it won't start it anymore.

Short of that you could get a good car alarm to prevent the car from being stolen and maybe alert you if someone opens a door. Or you could have the door/trunk locks changed and have to carry 2 keys for one car all the time. Or have them all swapped tho I bet that's all gonna get expensive.

Either way a trip to the dealership is the first step.

Thanks for the quick response. I only have one key now so I guess I will have to reprogram it but this will still allow the thief access to my car though.
Does anyone here know of a good place in the gta that installs remote starters/alarms for a decent price?
Thanks

We have a section on this site of CFz Vendors, they may have what you're looking for. If not, it might take a bit of comparison shopping on your part. You might also call your regular mechanic or talk to friends to get a reliable recommendation.
