Slight whining noise.
Well I just installed a killer high end sound system in my CRX.
Only problem is a slight high pitched whining noise . I can barely hear it when I press the gas and my music isn't playing.
It seems louder when my headlights are on.
I changed my spark plug wires from Accel to OEM CRX original wires. no luck.
My system was professionally tuned and my gains are set perfectly.
any clue what it can be?
Here's what my system consists of:
I bought a 10" Kicker solobaric 10L7 in a ported box.
http://www.kicker.com/ShowPage.cfm?f...enu=SUBWOOFERS
Powering the subwoofer is a Rockford Fosgate Power 1000bd amp !

Powering my alpine 5 1/4 components is a Rockford Fosgate Power 450S !

My headunit is Alpine CDA-9805

alternator whine.
heres a flow chart to help/
http://tools.autoaudio.com/flowchart/fc1.htm
if you cant solve the problem at all, try building a set of rcas with the ground trace extended and run a small piece of wire to the case ont he deck to drain any excess electrical signal this soemtimes does the trick.

I'm taking it to the audio shop tomorrow and try to use another amp.
I heard that the Alpine series amps are great in filtering out noise !
It's a very minor whine.
thanks for that link !!
