Recommend a place to buy deck

Was wondering if anyone could recmmnd a good place to get a deck and also that does installs for my car - needing one that gives full Ipod control on the deck itself. Interested in Alpine, JVC or Pioneer.

I'm in Burlington. I was thinking of doing it myself but I don't have a garage, just a low-lit parking spot underground, and knowing me, I would probably screw up something electrical.

Hey, I live in Burlington as well! I'd recommend buying a Pioneer receiver from Crutchfield Canada: Car Audio, LCD TV, Home Theatre, Home Speakers. Firstly, Pioneer makes awesome quality receivers. The sound quality is superb for the price you pay. Since you only need USB port for your Ipod, just get the one with only USB to save money. However, if you feel like splurging, get the one with bluetooth as well! That's the one I have. It's awesome.

Here's the one you want if it's just USB that you need. The basic!
Pioneer DEH-3200UB CD Receiver w/ USB Input & iPod control

If you want extra features with bluetooth + more, then this is the one I'd recommend: Pioneer DEH-P6200BT CD Receiver

You have a 2003 Civic right?
check out these receivers: Receivers at Crutchfield.ca

They ship you free installation kit and DYI installatio guide too!

With the purchase of most car stereos:
FREE mounting kit, wiring harness, and antenna adapter
Buy a stereo priced at CAD $149.99 and up, and get a FREE installation kit, wiring harness, and antenna adapter (if needed).* You'll save time and money on the installation, and it'll be easier to reinstall the factory radio if you sell your car.

With the purchase of any car speakers:
FREE speaker wiring harnesses and mounting brackets
Buy car speakers from Crutchfield, and we'll send you FREE wiring harnesses and mounting brackets (if needed) made specifically for your vehicle.* You'll save time and money on the installation, and it'll be easier to reinstall the factory speakers if you sell your car.

FREE custom installation instructions
A Crutchfield exclusive
Crutchfield MasterSheets™ are detailed, illustrated instructions created by our research department for most popular vehicles on the road today. If we have one for your vehicle, you'll get it FREE with the purchase of an in-dash receiver or speakers.*

I bought my stereo from them for my 2005 Honda Civic SI and installed it myself. It was very easy to do. The instruction are very clear and simple to understand. Also try youtubing tutorials on how to install a receiver into a 2003 Honda civic if you like seeing it done. There are a ton of videos!

Where abouts in Burlington are you??

Hope this helps!

Oh nice. I'm near Upper Middle and Guelph.

No these guys will send you a brand new condition receiver. If you got to BestBuy or Futureshop or any other electronic store. Chances are you won't get the added installation kit and installation manual. You'd have to buy that stuff on top of buying a receiver. So really you're saving about $50. And added bonus! Free shipping! I really think that's an awesome deal soo...

Let me know if you want to know anything else? I installed my receiver during the summer/fall so it's still basically brand new. Sound quality is awesome!

Why not buy a deck from one of our paid vendors?

They sell the latest equipment, and if you tell them you're from TCC, you'll get a great deal. They also have installation options.

paid vendors

selective sound
audio heaven
krown lakeshore

I wanted to add that i bought many things from crutchfield, and the service, price, shipping, etc is amazing. one of my favourite stores online.

Buying anything from the USA risks of being charged extra with customs or duties or broker charges. so buyer beware.
