Quick ? Concerning Bridging of an AMP
 

This is kinda of a dumb question, but I'm very new to audio. I wanted to bridge my two 12" subs because right now they are running unbridged and are capable of much more then that. My question is, my amp has RCA Inputs for both the Front and Rear Speakers. Right now the speakers are connected to the rear channel so I will be bridging the two speakers using both the front and rear channels. However, I only have an RCA input running to the rear and not the front channel. Is there a way to split the connection so that it can be used for both the front and rear channel? OR do I have to run a second RCA cable from my head unit?

question is kind of vauge... im assuming its a 4ch amp then?

do you mean Gauge? .. and yes it a 4 Channel amp .. It's an Audio Pipe 1600 I believe, purchased from LordM ... Y adapters eh.. alright I figured there would be something like that to do the trick. I guess I can pick em up from any audio place like Best Buy or something?

you should read the manual first and find out how to bridge your amp

you will gain power output aswell by doing this

when you bridge them most likely you will only need to use 1 set of the rca inputs anyways

yeah there may be a switch that will allow you to have dual or a single pair of rca inputs.

Read the manual ... and all it says was to use the Channel1 R+ and Channel2 L- on the Front Side for bridging and Ditto on the Rear Side. It doesn't mention anything else about a switch or anything. Hopefully LORDM might take a peak at this since he deals with these AMPS
