Driver side: When I press the down sw, the window drops about an inch and when I up the sw it only raises 1/2". Passenger side is ok. Any suggestions

press the up button twice for every single press if the down button?

kidding. check the switch and the connector on the drivers door switch. then check that the motor is working fine, you'll need to find the schematics or ask around further but jumping the right pins in the connector should make the window go up/down if it's the switch. if the window doesn't move, it's the motor or wires going to it from the connector.
