Plexiglass

Where can plexiglass be purchased?

imported_loudsubz 17-Apr-2002 03:18 PM

Depends on the thickness but they have decent thick pieces @ Home Depot

imported_striderx 17-Apr-2002 03:37 PM

haha just thinking about it, home depot can be a nice cheap place to mod you car.

make a front grill with the mesh, interior paint, decent sub woofer boxes. if they start selling washer leds and side markers it'd be over!

Thanks loudsubz

Yea home depot is quite the useful store, and i didn't even think of seeing if they had plexiglass there.

or for the more adventurous - you can ever get an APR-styled wing made from home-depot stuff

just remember that there will be conceques to buying cheap. do it right and get high quality 0.5" if not more if your going to run serious equiptment in it. im only guessing its for a box
look in the yellow pages and call around. i just heard of a vacuum forming plastics place by the air port. they're called AFI or something. apparently they could make a box that is just as smooth as a high quality fiberglass box. just an idea
