What I always do when I run wires for amp is pop off the plastic cover that you see when you open a door and tuck the power cable there. If its a 2dr, then when you get to the rear panel I just stick it up the side panel. When you get to rear seat, at the very end of the panel just feed it across under the seat and you're in the trunk. Do the same with remote/rca cables. Though I usually do it on an opposite side since the plastic tends to lift if there are too many wires and for sound quality.

I've done 7 cars like that and it always work with usually 0 wire showing.

agree with scrider.. place them underneath the kick panels (whatever you call them). I have the same car and did it for mine last year, I couldnt bother taking them completely off... so what I did what take a large screwdriver... pried them up and the stuck the handle part of the screw driver in there to give me space to play with and feed the wires.
I did take off the middle panel right underneath the seat belt... all you need for that is a flat head and some strength to pry it off.

RCA's and remote wire go on opposite side.

on most wiring of the wiring harness i've seen there should be a tag that says remote just splice it into that wire

The remote wire from the deck is usually blue. Says rem/remote on it. It should be 1 of the few wires that are unused from the whole cluster.

I usually get all the wiring cut by foot from a1 electronics in etobicoke. Its cheaper than getting a full kit.
Now for remote wire, as long as you have a good connection it will be fine, since remote wire just triggers the amp to turn on/off whenever the deck is getting power.

Recommended Power and Ground Cable Sizes

For both power and ground in my 00 Civic SE, I used 4 gauge in my car... I'd say it wasn't completely necessary and some my say it's spot on. i figured I'd rather overkill it, than under estimate and kick myself later

4gauge is nice. Had to wire a car with 2gauge wire, that was a pita.
Back in the day I had 6 gauge and had no problems. But again the 10s didn't push more than 300watt each.

When your deck is on, touch the positive side of multimeter to the rem wire at the amp, then ground it off anywhere. Watch the reading.
