'Sup to all TCC members,

This is my first post, so go easy on this rookie here.

I just lost my keys and I don't have an extra key-less entry remote for my CiViC. So I have a couple of questions that I hope you guys (and girls) at TCC can help out with. 1) Is it possible for me to buy a key-less entry remote online and program it with my car by myself? 2) Can I take another key-less entry remote for another civic (same year and model) and re-program it to my civic? 3) Does anyone here wear their car keys around their neck 'cuz I think I should do the same?

Why don't you just install a alarm system (even a cheap one from best buy onsale now i think with installation) is good enough and has keyless entry. Better yet get yourself a remote starter. And yes i use a neck strap for my keys, i find it more convenient and easier to find.

You know what? That sounds like a mighty good idea! Never really thought about it (plus I just wanted to keep things OEM) but it's also gonna lower my insurance too. BONUS!!! Thanks Vinny!

Some keyless entry systems are integrated with a car alarm system and, as such, this feature needs to be available with the keyless remote.

Good feature, it's a shame the OP didn't have it when this thread was made years ago. Just the same, hope he/she eventually found their keys!
