i think i messed up!!

hey all i just bought gsr laethers for my 98 si coupe. i just realized that i have a 60/ 40 split and the leathers are 50/50... is there any way i can mod this to work??? i am kinda bitter right now cuz i think i need el rears... any help would be great... thanx again

yeh just cut the bracket that the seats pivot on in the middle of the 60./40 or 50/50 w.e u have and then re weld it wher you need it for the split

ok..wat about if i used teh gsr bottom and the el backing ??? will that work ok? or is ther estill a gap ?

There is more of a gap with the EL seats because they are from a sedan.

is it a gap on teh part u sit or the rear bench part??? if its teh part u sit...can u fit a gsr bottom section and a el rear part???

The gap is on the back, not where you sit. Unless you want to chop off the top latches and relocate the bottom hinges, I recommend you get a set of EL rears.

Theres no way to make it work and fit perfectly, regardless with that you do with the split you will still be short in length because the latch is too high up. Only way is getting el seats for the rear. you can still use the gsr bench though.

only thing is GSR's are black and ELs only come in charcoal grey (dark grey) they are different in color

there is more than just grey....i have seen black and tan el leathers...i just need the back part for the leathers then i can use the bottom of the gsr leathers

yup just picked up the rear backrest part and its jet black not to mention in good condition.
