How to remove the heater unit - 88-91 civic

I am removing my dash this weekend and I nee dto know how to safely remove the heater without fubaring the cables at the back.

Anyone can confirm on the steps and how to avoid any pitfalls?

The car is the 88-91 Civic

is it not just a harness? un bolt and unhook

unfortunately not.....have to worry about the cables and it is not easy to unhook. Fortunately I got the helms manual and I don't nee dto remove it to take out the dash......and since I just did it today I can confirm......thank heavens cuz it would have been a beatch to take out.
