How to install after-market steering wheel

i am planning to install a momo steering wheel with a hub on my eg. The stock steering wheel has an SRS airbag. I would like a set of instructions on how to remove the steering wheel and install the new one. TIA.

Also, im hearing that i need a hub remover, where do i get one and is it really needed? How do i wire the horn? Do i need a shoe horn ? and any other parts. Once again thanx in advance.

i always thought that you can only replace a steering wheel that has an air bag aslong as it keeps the air bag.....

lucky for me my eg doesn't have airbags.. so i can swap in any steering wheel.. but unlucky for me if i crash i could die.. lol

me and a couple of friend were blowing up airbags in a junk car that was a neon and apparently there a 30 min charge on the airbag even after you shut the car off.so if i were you to be on the safe side i would disconnect the battery and wait an hour.they come out pretty faast, and trust me it looks like it hurts lol

k before anyone goes any further i think we should clarify the legality issue of this matter.

It is not illegal to have no airbag.
BUT the minute you remove it insurance will no longer cover you/have the right to drop you out of insurance and not be liable for any medical compensation.

that being said its illegal. because in ontario no motor vehicle can be operated without insurance.

me and my buddies did it in his integra
just disconnect the battery
pop off the airbag cover
if i remember correctly there should be plugs and screws on it
after pop the steering colum cover and remove any plugs *not sure if theres any screws on it*
but there should be a bolt after removing the wheel for the hub
now the bitch is the adjusting of the aftermarket wheeel and also the horn is a bitch too gotta find the riite wire for the horn and splice into it and use a longer wire and like a pin or somting that would stay in place wen turning the hub
