HELP- srs removal

HELP- srs removal

so i am replacing my steering wheel. i have to unplug the two-wire connector to disengage my srs. for the life of me i cannot unplug the damn thing. i imaging you are required to push or pull a tab somewhere but i cannot figure this one out. the single-wire horn came out no prob. anyone?

^^^forget that. figured that one out. now here's a different problem. in removing the wheel, i pulled the horn cable out of the harness. bigger problem is that i don't know where the harness is that i pulled it from or how to get it back in.

carefully look to the left of the yellow connector and you can see the black, horn connector. this is the one i ripped off. it looks like it goes into socket 4 but i cannot tell for sure. i don't even know how to get it reset back in there. any help?

ur probably gonna have to replace the unit bro
AND MAKE SURE you put it in straight
or theres gonna be issues after

aer you referring to the drive shaft? really? do you know this from experience? it seems a little drastic.

it turns out that it is indeed a separate part, according to the guys at ready honda. $45. after a ton of phone calls, i am off to the wrecker. if they can't help, then it's off to ready honda. that means the car may remain in the garage all weekend until the part arrives.

hey bro, if u want, take the faceplate of the cluster out, put some black electric tape where the srs is. and it will be gone
