Fuse Question
ok heres what i need to know......
my instrument lights fuse was a 7.5.....but it kept burning as soon i hit the switch for the lights because i put in diff bulbs (super white with a tint of blue/xenons) and it kept burning i guess to much for the fuse....and i replaced it with a 15 fuse....is that bad to do? or will it be fine? |
Not good, it will eventually melt the wire because that thin wire is designed to run a certain amperage, add a relay and you will be fine.
|
.......add arelay.....
what u mean by add a relay???
|
regular wire will act as the trigger for the relay, amperage can be minimal..
this will activate the relay which is taking this better power from the battery and transferring it to the lights |
oh icic
icic will this make the lights brighter also?
|
possibly, you will have somewhat unlimited current flowing to them
|
ok thanx
THANX ALOT....DO U HAVE ANY PICTURE OR ANYTHING OF WHAT THIS MIGHT LOOK LIKE???
|
