fuel guage

my gas meter when im driving can raise or drop like 1 cm and i dont know whether im on E or i have a quarter tank. what do i need to do to fix this?

Its a comon problem with EG's. Are you noticing it when your taking sharp turns, or on on ramps etc.

You tank is about 45L so go by that, instead of the gauge.

yeah i notice it when i accelerate fast and when i brake fast and stuff, probably around sharp turns too. i didnt know it was common though

its very common on most civics

it is just fuel swishing around in the tank (its a fluid and responds to changes in motion rather quickly)

It is a common "problem". I notice it on my 99 too when i'm accelerating on highway ramps and such.

You could slow it down by slowing the response time of the metering circuit, but that is just too much work.

my ek also does this, common problem.
