Fogging Issues on a 02 Civic

I'm having issues in the winter where the windshield keeps fogging up. Even after I use the A/C to get rid of it. it just seems to keep coming back. Now you can understand its too damn cold to keep the a/c on in the winter. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this problem? Any products out there that will eliminate the issue?

Thanks

use the a/c in tandem with the heat..
the a/c should automatically come on when you use the defrost settings, it's supposed to...it's not actually the a/c, but the compressor is used to help with the defrost

Give the interior glass a real good cleaning.

Using the A/C draws the moister and humidity out of the air keeping the windows clear.

You can buy some anti-fog liquid. I'm not sure what its called, but you can get it @ cdn tire. It comes in a black bottle, and its always right next to the Rain X bottles. I used this product on my old car, and it worked like a charm. However, you do need to re-apply every 2 months or so.

I use rain-x windshield water. and trust me it does. My wiper is mostly on either the lower setting or the medium. never the high fast moving arm setting. Why u can ask cus the rain x windshield coats the windshield with these coatings that repel water and u can literally see the water dropps just move through the windshield creating a clear view. I do highway speeds to kitchener and back and trust me guys that extra $2 spent on a good windshield water does hellp.

To answer the person wiht the foggin question i hope your vent is not set to recyle the air. If not make sure for the rear window your getting power to the defogging wires and for the front windshields make sure ur air vents are clear.

Get a bottle of those window cleaner in the auto section at CT or Partsource.. there was abrand i forgot the name rite now.. has a yellow Cap with a black spray can.. for your windows.. it's like 6.99/can... and use a soft cloth and wipe ur window..

Safe on tint windows also.. spray it on and let it soak in for a bit and then wipe it off with a clean soft cloth.. that'll help the fogging up issue.. and after that if it fogs up a BIG then just turn the A/C on with heat to the front window and it'll do the trick...
