Engine Start Button Installation
Hi there
does anyone know how to connect a engine start button to start the car? |
sure, it's the same as hot-wiring a car
|
depending on the button you get
you can use a real small on but need a relay |
Noooooooooooooooo.
Just get an auto start remote.. Much cooler... |
Heh I put one in my old car, it's not too hard
Depends on if you want to be able to start the car with or without the key in the ignition I had to have my key it Hehe I've seen some pretty cool stuff happen with an auto start remote on a manual car |
nah.....I had remote start b4...wanna try this "S2000 Style" ignition system lol
is it hard to install? of course I want the one with key insert otherwise when some one break in the car who can drive the whole car away |
theyll be able to start it but there will still be steering wheel lock
|
Is it just the button or the whole s2000 ignition?
I tried to get an s2000 engine start button but honda wanted 80 bucks... |
no..i just want the start button...
not necessary to be S2000 one but I want the one similar with S2000 one |
I just used a generic yellow push button
I was gonna use a horn button but it's too easy to press I'm sure you know what happens when you try starting your car when it's already running... hehehe I can help you out when you get what you need |
try this site for the button:

Thanks so much guys :D
|
yo go to SpeedStar, they did that for my friend's ep3. you need to disable your immobilizer for your ep3
|
you would still need the key after installed the button, you need to turn the key to the second click instead of the third, then you press the button, then you can go. again, it's you mobilizer causes you the need to put the key in.
