Electrical Problem ?
a while back, long while, i called honda about this problem and they said i needed to replace a module, i think.
when i open my driverside door, the interior light doesn't come on when it should. when i open my passenger door it works fine. not a big deal except when my alarm (factory) is armed you can open the driverside door without the alarm going off, which sucks.
Now I know its not the wiring or the switch on the door because if i leave my headlights on or my keys in the ignition it'll beep when the doors open, and obvisouly stops when its closed. So i know its not that. so rule that out before replying and sayin check the wiring.
I remember honda wanting to charge a lot of money to fix this problem so i didn't even bother. So since there is only one wire going from the door switch, its gotta be i guess a module failier or some sort of electrical problem. All my fuses are fine.
Does anyone know where this mysterious module hides at? or a link to a wiring diagram or somthing? It's almost impossible for me to trace the wire because it goes into a bundle and dissappears behind the fuse pannel. Ive taken the lower dash all apart and just tried fiddling with everything.. nothing, i can't even get my interior light to flicker with the driver side door open like it use to just before it quit working (like it was a loose wire or somthing) but then again it can't be cause theres only 1 wire coming from the switch and its working otherwize my door chime woudn't work either..
Anyone? any takers?
