Eg Power windows seizing up.. any advice..

In my eg hatch the power windows are seizing a bit rarely stopping but they usually just slow down alot in the mid range of moving up or down...

so far lubing hasn't done much...

any better ideas...?

try replacing ground. sometimes if the ground is poorly rusted electrical current wont push as much. Replaced mine on my 96 ek and there working good again. I just did the ones on the engine and the starter but you might want to try the ground on the harness for the the window

what kind of lub ??? have you used grease ? I know wD40 only work temporary. also if you have it in your hatch that means you have a custom setup.. check your window motor and harnesses.

Mine are kinda slow to....

silicone spray lubricant ftw :P

Also I use that stuff in the winter time when I wash my car to prevent the doors & windows freezing shut.
