compustar

I have a general question regarding the compustar 2W8000FMAS series

Since this uses the white remote, instead of the blue, can I have the remote stricly vibrate and not make a noise if the alarm is triggered? It vibrates and makes a noise now...but I was wondering if i can only have the vibrating option??

thank you

yes you can hold down 2 and 3 till pro 9 comes up then hit button 4. I put it in that mode when I am in class works great. But it won't make any sound at all not even when you start the car.

Should the pager continuously beep the alarm on the car is triggered?

Mine goes off and after 10 seconds or so stops beeping....but the alarm on the car is still going off....

again, manual should tell you of any options in that regard..

mine quits after 15, no option..but it's not a compustar either so

I dont think its in the manual....im under the impression it should continuously page u while the car's alarm is on...only makes sense....

Whiplash 23-Jan-2005 10:02 AM

ya, it'd make sense...i completely agree with ya
but when has that ever mattered to a manufacturer :D

well just talked to Jeff and he said it only goes through one cycle 10-15 seconds or something and then it stops....
