Moffat in Milton deals in the stuff..
dunno whether they have it in stock or not, but they advertise it in their showroom..

price thru them, i dunno..
we still have a GB deal thru Bread's site tho..
search the Group Buy section for it.. it saves us 10% i believe

i ordered thru them and all went well..
i haven't tried the stuff that carkilla is speaking of, tho if i run out of the Bread maybe i'll check it out..

what section is it in? does it really work just as well? any drawbacks of using it in a car?

i mean, theres gotta be a big difference between paying $200 and $50

SpideyCivic 06-May-2003 02:20 PM

has anyone ever used this home depot stuff?

Whiplash 06-May-2003 03:03 PM

nope..i went for the GB..
next time i'm in i'll have a boo at it tho, see what be up with it..

imo tho, if yer not REAL serious about "the sound" go for it (if you can find it..) and if it ain't enuf "fix" for ya just slap on another layer..then it costs ya $100, less than what the BB would cost

Jugglez 06-May-2003 05:46 PM

FYI, the TCC Group bUy on brown bread and other b-quiet stuff is still active. i spoke with a rep from B-quiet and we get 10% off.
read this whole thread for instructions.

imported_mrchaos 07-May-2003 01:25 AM

it's called "mini proguard" - i work at the depot

lots of guys come in asking for the **** to do there cars with

its a roofing material, its very similar to the original dynamat in thickness and what it is actually made of

just have to heat the stuff up for the glue to really stick cause its meant to go on a roof and have the sun heat up the glue on it so it sticks nicely, use a heat gun

Whiplash 07-May-2003 05:05 AM

thanx..
