Car speaker not working

Hello y'all...i recently put in a sony deck, amp and sub in my civic...recently my passenger front speaker stopped working...mind you, it was working for 2 weeks since i put all the stuff in...i know it didnt pop because its brand new and its still good but what could have went wrong?

First thing you should do is removed the sony deck and check that all the wires in the back are still splice ( tape) together. I have a similar problem with my sub ,as it turned out the wire going from the sub to the deck came apart so I had to retaped it. Thats is the problem with putting the wires together with tape , it is not 100% secure

If thats not the problem then take apart the passenger front speaker and make sure the wires are still soldered to the positve and negative connection. I had a similar problem in my old jetta where the wire was cut so again I had to splice it back together.

You could also grab a multimeter and check for power , grounds , resistance.

^^ had that same problem sunday morning. ended up fixing it yesterday. as said above, check wiring at the deck, then wiring at the speaker. if all checks out get multi meter and check for power.
problem with mine was that the wire was kind of old and just broke. lol yeah 18year old car haha but all you need is time and patience.
