Car Alarm Remote Not working

What's up people.. i have a viper alarm and it i have just come to notice that my unlock on my remote no longer works.. is it worth replacing it? or buying a new alarm??.. i should also add, that since this started happening my switch to unlock/lock the doors works periodically which is weird.. any suggestions or
ideas let me know plzz thanks

go to selective sounds and talk to dave...it is probably ur remote but also could be due to the hack job on the wiring....talk to dave and he will figure everything out....i am a past customer with the same problem and its all figured out now no problems

lol no hack job man i can assure you that.. this all started happening when the remote no longer worked ;s.. i just want to know if its cheaper to buy a new one or just to replace it
