Capacitor
I got a digital cap... and it doesn't turn on.. how is it suppose to know when to turno on or off
|
after charging and connecting, the cap will hold the charge and the digi meter should go on to tell you the voltage. the meter might go off when the car is not running depending what kind of cap you have. on mine, the digi meter comes on when i start the car.

ye mine worked for a bit and it chilled at 14V... then i turned it off.. and it stayed on for a c ouple minutes or w.e. then i started it up again..and it didn't turn on since.. i thought there might be a remote wire or sumtin? i jus have positive from battery to positive then from same terminal to amp and negative grounded.. it did work for a bit.. but then it dunt work n e more wtf..
hows it suppose to know when to turn on thats what i dunt get |
most will only turn on when they're needed (when there's a big draw of power)..
try pounding the system for a bit and see what happens.. other possibility is the readout just went for a shyt.. |
the cap its self is not working though..
cuz when it worked at first for a bit.. i pounded and my rpms didn't drop.. now without it working they do drop and there is lights dimming.. same as before... |
try and drain the cap then charge it again and see what happens. the only other thing i can think of is a bad cap and i don't see too many of those :shrugs:
|
fixed it.. i charged it.. and now its all good.. i charged before.. but w.e. now its awsome i love it
