Battery just keeps on dieing
Hi, im having problems with my setup.
first of all i will list my equipment
- Sony xplod deck
- MTX amp (280 watt)
- Rockford wired
- 2 12" Kenwood subs
now i just messaged PULOVR, but he appears to be offline right now so i am posting here...
whis happening, is that my amp stays on even after i shut off the car, which is obviously causing my battery to die....i need it to turn off, or is it something else that is causing my battery to be dead..? im pretty sure it is the amp, but please help me out!! thanks!!!

check your wiring again
it is def wired up wrong or somehow your deck is malfunctioning
for a fix you can wire it to the cig lighter circuit since it is switched and turns off when you turn off the car

haha... gay decks
your amp should have 3 power thingies.... + constant, - ground, + remote B.
+ constant goes with heavy duty wire, fused, and to the battery
- goes to a good ground
+ remote B goes to the deck power antenna wire or remote B wire (depening on deck).
Check to be CERTAIN you have a good ground. When my ground wasn't hooked up, my amp's LED was always on until I figured out my ground was the problem.

your remote wore that goes from the deck to the amp is wired tot he constant power wire on the deck............OR.....whoever did it for you simply ran the remote wire for the amp from the amp's positive wire...........OR........your amp remote wire and power wire are touching (this is a very common problem)

Sorry, I was at work. I already gave you a detailed step by step explanation on what to check for, and also on how to fix it........the funny thing is, that it seems you already got the help you needed.
Hey, at least I check and respond to my pm's before I post *****.
