hey guys, so today i installed my new cd deck and its working but heres whats weird. When i play music through the cd, all my speakers play, but then when i use the aux and connect my ipod and play music only the rear speakers play.. i tried resetting the deck by pushing the button but its still like that.
any ideas as to how to fix that? thanks alot.

Without knowing which deck you installed my best guess would be something in setup. Alot of time the aux is set up for video/audio input. So in the eyes of the law for the rear passengers.

but its an older sony xplod deck, i dont think it would be equipped for that.
is there anyway to change it? or is it just permanently like that

alright if you want advise you need to put some effort in and give some info. you first said new deck now its old?? and as i mentioned in my last post what deck

i had this problem before with my alpine. As it turned out i didnt have the AUX cable all the way in the deck.... Make sure whatever is connecting from your radio to your ipod is push all the way in ( at the ipod and at your deck)... Anyways good luck !

the aux cable should be a stereo one and not mono
