Annoying Seatbelt problem

My Car is 13yrs old, and now my seatbelt(Driver side) is acting up on me!
It doesn't roll back by itself after use. I tried to pull it really fast and let go really fast to see if it will trigger the spring to roll it back. But it doesn't work at all.

Is there anything I can do to fix that?

Thanks for you help!

I'd love to know too. I got the same problem. Can't count how many times I've gotten the damn buckle in the door

check to see if there was a recall for it.

Just remember to "X" out after you finish (or you will have a bunch of windows open, and it will slow your computer down)
If it's not there.....time to go to the scrap yard, or get a new one from the dealer.:working:

Taking it to scrap yard because of the seat belt??

I hope you are not serious! J/K!

What you were suggesting was, go to scrap yard and pickup the seatbelt from a scraped Civic? Is it possible!?

My 4th Gen is my baby, don't even want to imagine not seeing her for 3 days!

Easy solution.. Just don't wear or use your seatbelts!

But seriously, check out the scrapyard for some new parts. Also, I remember reading somewhere in some seat swap article about there being a sensor under the seat or something that pulls it back, maybe there's something wrong with that..

hahahahaha...I just read over what I wrote....funny.......
Yeah....go to a scrapyard to see if they have a 4th gen civic (good chance) and get a belt from one of them....
Dealer price for a new one, in the colour you want......$270! Give the scrapyards a try!
Remember to bring a bunch of BIG torx bits (40, 45, 50) to get the bolt off that is holding the belt to the car.
