basically your stereo is picking up interference from your phone. you may notice the same thing happens to computers.

If your getting static noises in you car speakers, i'm guessing you got your phone powered by the cigarette lighter. Remove the wire from there, you shouldn't be getting it. If it doesn't work, i don't think there are static killers i'm not positive though ask "the source"

thats weird. Im with roger and that only happens when Im near my computer never in the car... do have a world phone possibly working on a lower frequency? Is there anywhere in your car that you could place the phone to stop it from making that sound if so just get a head set or one of those bluetooth decks that is if the money is worth solving the problem.

It depends on how close your phone is to your speakers. I'm with rogers and I get it too. I'm not too sure if its a rogers thing or any gsm provider.

It does it with clock radios, pc speakers (when they're on), it has an effect on the computer monitor too.

Actually, it affects the motor on my electric trimmer too when very close to it.

because it's not a volume issue. It's a frequency issue. Your phone service provider is sending waves at a level that speakers. A solution (i didn't try this ) buy an adapter so you can hook your phone up so you can hear people talk through your speaker, should kill the static sound .

it's definatly a filter thing alot of aftermarket car decks come with noise filters on the power leads

same thing happens when you run amp power wires next to speaker wires

its something you can try to cancel out with noise filters possibly But I've never had a problem and i have a rogers phone as well

After market decks don't fix this issue....Sorry just don't want someone to think it will and run out and buy a new deck. Your solutions are limited, sorry to say but if it makes you feel any better, there are many people out there with the same problem.

does it on my phone and its a Motorolla i355 (Mike phone). Im on Telus so it can happen on any netwrok.

Happens when I make a call or receive a call. If I am near any speakers it picks it up as a

tisk tisk tisk tiiiiiissssskkkk...tisk tisk tisk tiiiisssssssk. sound on the speakers. Sometimes its a different buzz sound but generally its like that.

telus, rogers it doesnt matter. but when its happening go through the radio stations and you will find that some stations are able to pick up the phone call and you can hear the other person through your speakers. Makes for some great hands free calling.

its the microwave phone signal that is interfering with the electronics of the speakers, probably the magnets in the speakers, i dont think there is a way to counteract this, jus turn ur stereo volume lower or direct the phone in a different position
