which AMP PUMPS

well i want to pump 2 12 inch rockford fosgate p2 woofers

p212s4 is the model at 4 ohm

i need an amp..i had a 600 watt kenwood max to push it. It did an alright job, but now i have decided to use hte kenwood to push my front speakers. since htey are alpine type r components.

Now, do you think the alpine mrvt320 will do the trick or should i get the audibahn A8002t amp ...

Or what would u buy ,and if you do have an amp also for sale, pm me

if you want something to pump, buy a honda utility pump

if you want a decent amp match the subs rms ratings to an amp that meets and exceeds that

If you are running 2 p2 12's I would look into a smaller US AMPS which is 2 ohm mono or 2 ohm bridged(1 ohm per chanel) stable and wire it parallel ofcourse. You do not need more than 300w to run them nicely.

You can find them used on e-bay for not too much.

Example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...717144000&rd=1

Alot of them will ship to Canada even though they put US only. Just send them an e-mail.

I agree. A D class mono amp will also be far cheaper than a multi channel amp.
You can't really go wrong with MTX or Fosgate for sub amps IMHO.

I have heard that as well, that MTX really hasn't moved forward for the past 2-3 years, and that the current stuff is really just flashier old stuff.
That being said, MTX in the past, even a few years ago, underrated their amps, and for subs, they always did well.
I'm putting in a Thunder 302 over the weekend to power my Fosgate Stage 1 12, i will post my impressions when i'm done.
Good luck on your search egrunner!
