Alternator

My alternator cant keep up with my system. The lights flicker and the rpms bog. while driving my voltage drops to around 11 volts. I know its stressful on this alternator but how much can it take? i dont know if i should get rid of this system

Do you have a capacitor? Have you considered changing your alternator and your battery altogether? If your battery light comes on, you're screwed Happened to me a few weeks ago, my alternator just went

what amp or amps are you running?

civic alternators only push out like 75 amps or so which isnt enough for any half decent system

there is a company we deal with called Ohio generator that makes alternators for audio purposes, they aren't cheap but they can handle tons of current.
