4ga ring terminals???

anyone know where i can get some 4ga wire ring terminals in the GTA? i need about 16 of them and i was going to buy them at Best Buy but they were charging like $7 for 4 of them....really not the best buy haha. Canadian Tire didn't have them that big. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Not 100% sure, but check Home Depot/Rona, maybe Radio Shack/The Source. They have to be somewhere for less than that!

i see a DIY ground kit in someone's future

affiliates should be able to help you out at a reasonable price......

shyt, wish i knew where all mine were..i still have 50 or so 8ga. around along with 200' of silver wire

IMO, 4ga is pretty thick
8ga. is much better for that application

look for small electronics shops - loudsubz knows of a few places he sent me to and they had great stuff and good prices too.

haha you figured me out. so far i've been to home depot, the source, and home hardware and nobody has them. funny thing is, the kit is for a lexus is300 and the "aftermarket" ground kits for them were 4ga so i was just following suit. i already have some nice red 4ga wire and i don't want it to go to waste so....

so i guess i'll give loudsubz a pm and i still have the affiliates to contact. will let you guys know what i come up with if anyone really cares about stupid terminals haha. thanks a lot guys.

this is what im aiming for

it'd be nice if you could color match the shrink wrap

question, why 16??
does your design not pull you back into a distribution block??

yeah im thinking of using red shrink wrap, worse comes to worse it'll be black.

this will explain why i'll need approx. 16 terminals. but im not sure if i like how theirs is connected so we'll see once i get all my materials.

cool...

ya, some of the tie-in connections leave me wondering
T's would look so much cleaner, or small dizzy blocks would be pimp
is it just my old eyes tricking me, or are they using 4ga. and 8ga. wires??

if you SOL the all copper crush connectors at CT or Home Depot for the larger wire work perfect as well.

You insert the wire, and centre punch it then solder the wire inside the hole, it works great and you add a little heat shrink over top when your done and you have one nice connection.

Goes better under the hood IMO than some of that flash other stuff
