Amp problem??

I need some help experts...How am I supposed to know if my Amp still works or not??? See, i have this amp of mine that has been in my ride for a while. I put my woofer back in my ride for this season but it looks like my Amp is not working, the little LED lite is not On and i got no BASS from my woofer..I reset everyting, like unplugged the car battery, checked all the connections (remote wire, positive, negative, etc..) and so on, but still is not working...Is there any other way to check if my AMP still works or not...TY in advance...

Did you check the amp fuse?

Do you have a multimeter? If you do, simply check for continuity through out the system.

The fuse is the one that goes between the positive side of the battery to the amp right..I checked that one already and there's no burn between the metal..

There is also a fuse ineternally, and that fuse will blow if the positive wire gets plugged into the negative, and vis-versa.

One of those screw driver looking things with the roach clip attached to the end, and little light bulb in the middle, seems every canadian tire multi tool kit has one,(A Line Checker) to make sure the power is working at the amp, power, negative test when amp is off, then remote line to ground when powers on. The try you speaker wires. Test your RCA's, plug a Stereo to RCA adpater (not sure if that's it's name, One end looks like a head phone jack, the other is RCA.) into the amp while first unplugging the original, then turn the stereo on, then plug the Stereo to RCA jack into a Discman or similiar, and hit play.
While LED's don't burn out often, there is a very slight chance they could've(Highly Doubt it).

I once had my remote line, slightly grounding of my negative, amp wouldn't power.
Make sure the Remote line is the remote line. Most new deck wiring actually has a blue wire, like the power antenna wire, made for AMPS!

A Volt Meter will tell you if any wire is grounded via the about of power showing (12volt).
(12volt system, 14.4-3volt when car's on)

Good luck!
