12 civic ex radio cut out

12 civic ex radio cut out
hey guys, got a quick question. ive been doing some searching but havent found an answer to this.
i installed subs tonight( 2 mtx 12s) and i grabbed signal from the rear speakers, wired em into rca leads and plugged into amp. everything works mint, but after about 3 mins of hi volume the radio will cut out completly, no audio at all. will a line out converter cure this problem? or is the factort radio just to weak?
