Arrow '06 RSX front leathers in '06 Civ Ex??

Hi,

Is anyone able to confirm for me -either through personal experience or with their direct expertise- whether front leather seats from a 2006 RSX (not Type-S) will be good for direct fitment onto a 2006 Civic EX coupe. Basically, I'm curious to know if the front seats for each respective vehicle are (virtually or 99%) interchangeable. Seat belts, sensors, air bags, etc...

Thanks very much!

Sorry that your question hasn't been answered, David. If I knew, I'd tell ya. Will see if this question can get some attention soon, haha.

As I'm sure you probably know and already mentioned, majority of seats are interchangable. You need the proper rails. If they fit space hieght/width wise, and fitted with the correct rails, they should fit. I've NEVER done it, but it makes sense doesn't it. Engines are my specialty, not cosmedics... though I can do some mean bondo!

I'll try googling for you since I don't have an answer.

EDIT:
Apon extensive googling:
Fabricating
Buying

Hope this helps!

Hey, thanks for contributing... Ideally, I hoped for a straight swap. I've done (what I consider to be) extensive online research & the answer is most definitely no. My next consideration is a leather / high quality vinyl wrap. My 8th gen Civ is my 1st car with a non-leather interior & I absolutely loathe being electrocuted every time I exit the vehicle.

Do what I do... let your wife out first.
I think that's what those grounding straps are for.
Life Story: I work as a grease monkey for honda, and the spring time with all the sand and salt coming off the roads would generate SOoo much static I'd get nasty shocks everytime I get out of a customers car. So much charge it woulld shock my hand through my shirt. I eventually developded a complex lol. Like when Bart Simpson saw Cupcakes.
