My cousin hooked me up with a magnaflow muffler and i was just wondering if there is any gain with the switch and how loud would the car get? I don't want to be THAT loud

gains would be minimal if anything. It will be loud enough as thats a straight though design "muffler" (Loudener), otherwise known as a fart can, fart cannon, or hollywood exhaust.

Fart cans tend to be quite loud, and the silencers just look silly imo.

There would be next to no performance gains.

loud for some may not be loud for others.

Also no performance gains.

if you keep your stock piping and slap a muffler on the end i will sound really high pitched, and buzz instead of making a nice deep tone (even worse with a silencer). pretty much everything you DON'T want in an exhaust system. performance gains = 0.

if i were you i'd either get a full exhaust system if you want that look/sound (with 2-2.25" max piping) or go stock.
