I have a d16y7 doing the mini me and putting a d16y8 head on it. Now with the intake manifold I don't have the y8 sensors. Can i use the y7 ones and make the modification to the sensor and in the ecu and it will work?

which sensors are you talking about?

If you use the y8 intake manifold you'll have to use the y8 2-wire idle air control valve. You'll have to wire up the 2-wire IACV plug and perform the modification to the wires at the ECU in order for this to work.
