if you're using a type r exhaust... regardless of what header... it will have a deeper and quieter tone.

nope... it wont sound like garbage... your muffler will make most of the difference... if you have a stock exhaust as it is... it won't make any disgusting noises.. unless there is damage done to your exhaust system....

It will sound decent. It won't be loud.
FYI a resonator makes a huge difference in sound.

You wont notice a difference, maybe just a tab bit. Wow those lightspeed header's are old school, i remember those back in the days.

Lightspeed headers make good jam!
We used those headers in the past, good choice.
We actually custom mod'd one made AMAZING gains.

Are you going to be putting the entire Type-R cat back? Or just the muffler? Replacing all the piping would be better.....
On a D16z6 a good mod combo : Aem type-R cold air intake, Lightspeed headers, full custom exhaust, zex 59-300 cam = 130whp and 113wtq. Chrome tuned.

Let us know if you need any help & GL
