Does anyone know if a cold air intake meant for the 96-98 Honda Civic DX will fit into a '96 Honda Civic CX?

Heh, funny i was trying to figure out something like that too ...
It really depends on your intake .... if you have the top intake or the side intake ... heres a pic of the side intake from the injen site ...



and here is one from the top intake ...



and as far as i know, the cx and dx engines are the same, so a DX intake should fit in a CX ... now if its vtec then it wont fit, because im pretty sure the vtec engine has the side intake ...

what if I turn that into a short ram intake...will it still fit?

why are you making this so hard..
go open your hood and take a look. It either fits or it doesn't. It take 2 minutes to figure it out. take your intake in one hand and see if it will fit.

You even have photos to help you.
