Installing Short Ram Intake... Question

Installing Short Ram Intake... Question
So Im trying to install the short ram air intake on a 03 civic, but have one question. When I remove the stock air box, I see a sensor that is attached to it. Did a little search, and found that that sensor is the Air Temperture sensor. Question is, where do I attach that to when I install the new ractive intake? From what I`m seeing, if I remove that sensor.. and plug in the new intake.. that sensor is just gonna hang out --unplugged. Is that something to worry about? Below is a pic of the exact plug that I`m talking about...

its not THAT bad if it hangs out your air fuel mix ratio will be off but again you can still drive with it
if they dont want to give your money back tho and your stuck drill a hole stick it in there and seal it
thats what i did when i had to retro fit a d15b SRI for a d16y8

the sensor you saw is for your o2 sensor.
basically, it reads how much air is being taken in, in order to calculate the air/fuel ratio.
whenever you change from stock air box to a short ram intake, this sensor has to be properly placed (there IS a spot on your intake for the sensor) and basically, after its installed, turn the car off for 5 minutes. Disconnect the battery terminals and 1-2 minutes later reconnect them. Turn the ignition on in the car and let your car idle for 2-3 minutes. This lets your ECU re-calculate the air/fuel ratio and will prevent a performace loss in your car. After all this is done, enjoy the WRRRHHHHH sound yooo!!!!
