Installing Password JDM Power Chamber Intake

What's up guys, I have a 97 EK with a B16A swap. This intake comes with no instructions, I've emailed Password JDM and it's been days and no reply. I called, they said a Install PDF will be up on the web in a few days. Nothing yet. Searched the web and can't find any info.

It's the correct model for my car, p/n: PWCPC-EK9-BSC. Getting it in position, clamping it on is no problem. But it has two small holes. One hole is to route a hose to a valve on the rear valve cover near the oil cap. I've seen a few pic online and they all connect the hose to this valve. But the valve already has a hose connected to it. What do I do with the existing hose?

The other hole it seems just gets plugged. A rubber plug came with the kit. Any idea of why this second hole is there, if it just gets plugged? The intake is for a EG 92-95 / EK 96-00. I'm guessing a sensor for a D series? The photos I've seen online, I can't see this second hole.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

just make sure you have a hose going from the valve cover to the intake, and the other plugged, you'll be fine. if your car had a sensor or something else plugged into the intake tube, stock or not then the hole is there for you if you need it.

The other hole is used for the intake temp sensor if you have one that is suppose to go onto the intake. If you have a dseries engine then put your in there if you have a bseries engine then your intake temp sensor (iat) is on your intake manifold and then you'll just plug the hole

Ok well as stated above the two holes in the pipe are for A. Blow by and B. Intake air temperature sensor.

The hose that comes off the valve cover is routed to your intake, if you have the stock intake then you will have to disconnect it from the original pipe and plug it into the new intake you are installing.

The IAT sensor hole, well since you have a b16, you will have to plug it shut since the IAT sensor is located on the intake manifold and not the intake pipe.

So all you have to do is hook up the line from the valve cover to the intake like in the picture, and plug the second hole shut.

Thanks for the feedback. Ya I plugged the second hole with the supplied plug. It was really loose and eventually just fell out. Took it to Defcon and Joee fixed me up.

A bit of a pain, but the new intake sounds great.
