Exhaust size suggestions.

Ive got a dx sedan (d15b8) with no mods that i drive as a daily. The exhaust is rotten and lego'd together (previous owner...theres 4 mid pipes...=/). Im going to custom make myself an exhaust, just curious if anyone any ideas on what size exhaust i should go with. Stock is 1 3/4, Im thinking either 2" or 2 1/4" piping.

I think 2.25 " is good .. Thats the one i m running ( pretty much same engine as yours)

Although I ve read that 2.5"-3 " is recomended if you want to turbo your engine..

Since this is your daily car and it doesnt seem like you want to put a turbo anytime soon , i would say 2.25"

2-2.25" is fine. No need to go any bigger on a stock d15.

2" or 2.25" max is good for NA d series. it depends on which powerband you will be using more. if you use the lower register or lower rpm then get 2", if you drive your car at 4000rpm + then go 2.25"
