Apexi Ws2 Muffler on..

a 96 GSR?

how do you think it would sound?
anyone have it on their car?
what are your thoughts?

iTaLiAn_vIrUs 10-Jan-2011 12:58 PM

oh and its a debate been the
60mm or the 105mm

MPR 10-Jan-2011 01:11 PM

^60mm or 105mm for what??? lol. Info please!

Everyone who has one seems to really like the WS2 exhaust system and or muffler. Great sound, performance and quality but not too loud.

Apexi 60/105mm
here you go
and my bad i meant to say
80mm/115mm

MPR 14-Feb-2011 10:46 PM

Go with the 60mm inlet, which is 2-3/8" diameter, which is plenty big enough. The 80mm (3") diameter is over kill.

dont go with the 3", its way way too big. In reality you should match the exhaust piping all the way down so you gain and have most exhaust gas velocity.

^^ unless your boosting then you may want the bigger, otherwise I agree they sound nice, not too loud and not a big heat score.

JDMej1 15-Feb-2011 08:55 PM

true. if boosting you would want a larger exhaust, but i assume you would have mentioned that, so go with the smaller option. again as stated you want to have all the same piping throughout, so before you throw a muffler on you may want to consider a full system; header-cat-cat back [piping+resonator-muffler]
