Hi,

I am buying an aftermarket short ram intake for my buddy
I am not sure if his civic is EX, LX ... SI or whatever there is ... all i know it is a 2004 and it is a 2 door (not an sir hatch)

should I worry about it tho? or is an intake the same for any model betw. 01 and 05?

The intakes are different between the model's so try to find out what he has.

the EX should not be in there as it has v-tec. the dx and lx share the same intake never heard of hx. Best thing to do is find out which one he has as mentioned above. I have an Injen short ram intake for my 02 and its a bit different then the one in the pic and i have an lx.

those models are for the US only,

btw go back to your friend and ask him what model civic does he drive...he has to know his own car. if not, take a quick pic and post it here then we'll go from there!

my buddy's civic is LX

the US Si civic might be an SIR civic, and US EX Civic = Canadian Si ...

either way ... Canadian Si intake, should fit Canadian LX, I'm almost 100% sure?

I hate it when there are differences between these models ... specially Can vs. USA ... if it was New Zealand or something I wouldnt mind and I'd kind of understand all of these changes to names
